WebThe Great War Redux is a mix up with other mod authors that expanded the original Great war mod. IMO both have their merits and worth playing. Great War is mostly railroading into the war. You can't really do anything about it, and it's pretty historical in that regard. All you can do is to be prepared. WebThe 20/40 width rule sticks with the Great War mod. Combat moves extremely slow and will be almost exclusively infantry and cavalry at the beginning. Because of this prioritizing infantry equipment and artillery are an absolute must. Irl over half of Germany’s 3 million casualties occurred from artillery fire, and it can do near the same in game.
