Inclisiran monotherapy
WebInclisiran is a slightly newer drug that inhibits the synthesis of the PCSK9 protein at an mRNA level in hepatocytes. Inclisiran is administered only twice a year and also leads to more than 50% reduction in LDL cholesterol levels. Use of inclisiran is thought to increase medication adherence, as it has a much lower administration frequency.
