We think this makes sense as regards ease and cost-effectiveness of access to annual financial statements by the society’s members, and others who may be interested in them. WebAug 26, 2024 · Every incorporated society must re-register under the new Act and has 2½ years (between 5 October 2024 to 5 April 2026) to complete this process. An incorporated society will continue to be subject to the old Act until it re-registers as an incorporated society under the new Act.
