Web15 lug 2011 · Simple, no brainer install. The JM400 mounts were designed for a V8 but great for the 4.3. Since the 4.3 is just missing the rear most cylinders off of a V8 you will end up with about a 4" longer rear drive shaft. You will need a Chevy conversion radiator. Web25 set 2008 · It will be a much easier task then swappin a 318 in and you'll get 4.3:1 t case ratio. If thats not enough torque to pull the wheels for you then Im not sure what your wheeling on. And even in that case, you can swap a trans with 1st "granny" gear in such as the sm465 or NV4500. Its all about gearing man.

Wire them all to the GM PCM. It's actually very easy.
